Operation SAFE SITE was founded in June of 1992 by Ken Mark and Ken Construction Management Services, LLC.

Developed primarily to bring safety information directly to construction jobsites, Operation SAFE SITE has evolved into a networking safety solution for Owners, Insurance Companies, Municipalities, General Contractors, Project Managers, and Subcontractors. Operation SAFE SITE is a full service safety organization, dedicated to providing safety services, programs, inspections and instruction to the construction industry.

OSHA compliance inspections are one ingredient of Operation SAFE SITE’s activities, but are also merely a mechanism for getting the safety message out to workers in the field. A combination of experience, knowledge, dedication and commitment are the true vehicle for providing meaningful construction safety instruction. Operation SAFE SITE has all of these attributes.

Jobsite inspections are documented immediately with on-board computers, allowing you to work from a checklist for quick resolution of safety concerns. Customizable programs available.

Who We Are:

Ken Mark Owner

Construction experience since 1987, including hands-on, project management, and ownership experience. Mr. Ken has been involved in the safety arena since 1989 .

Started KCMS, LLC/OPERATION SAFE SITE in March of 1994. Heavy use of computers in all facets of the business, including Internet usage and website development/management since 1990 (before it became fashionable!)

Trainer, writer, lecturer, inspector, manager.

Mr. Ken has contributed to articles published in the National Safety Council’s Safety & Health Magazine, and to Equipment Today Magazine, Pavement Magazine, and Safety & Health Reporter. He has also provided technical assistance in the development of over 25 safety videos for the AGC of America.

Member AGC of America (National Safety Committee member and Video Subcommittee Co-Chair), American Society of Safety Engineers, American Traffic Safety Services Association, Scaffold Industry Association, Connecticut Business and Industry Association, Connecticut Construction Industries Association (Safety Committee member), Independent Electrical Contractors Association, and the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Authorized OSHA Construction Outreach Trainer.

A portion of all proceeds from our operations are donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
